Latino Student Association

I did a lot of work for the Latino Student Association (LSA). I even served as an executive board member for a couple of years. However, the work I did for them with LSA News, kept us relevant during the COVID-19 pandemic. And a few years prior, the shirt that I made for our 20th anniversary was the shirt design that unified us that year (2019).

I designed both of these shirts. The first shirt shown was made for the 2018-2019 school year. It marked the 20th anniversary of our organization and paid homage to all the students who made this organization what it had become, a place for all Latinx students to feel welcome and at home. The second shirt we see is the shirt that the Executive Board received in the 2020-2021 school year. It was during a year that I served, and honestly, it was mostly made as a gift to us, for the fortitude and dedication that we demonstrated during the pandemic. And lastly, the LSA News logo. The LSA News was a way for us to stay connected to our members. It was an initiative that I started, which consisted of a quick news round-up that was both entertaining and informative. The videos were both shot and edited by me.

The video shown is the first in the series (and they only get better from there).
